My Parents! Sheila & DaveAt an age when most people contemplate retirement, Sheila and David Siddle’s lives changed when they nursed Pal, a badly wounded chimpanzee back to health. By electing to help a single chimp, the Siddles' farm suddenly became the “go to” home for dozens of injured and unwanted chimps from all over the world, forcing them to convert their cattle ranch into the Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage. Jane Goodall called Chimfunshi “the most wonderful place on earth!” Over 125 chimpanzees now reside at the sanctuary—not to mention dozens of
monkeys, parrots, birds, antelope and ME, one house-broken hippopotamus. Learn more about me--Billy! My mom, Sheila, says I'm a very special friend and one of the most extraordinary animals who ever joined the Chimfunshi family. Visit "Facebook". |
